Electrical property of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon under high pressure
Doping is used to control electric structure of organic materials, and superconductivity is observed for K doped picene [1] and phenanthrene [2].
Organic materials are strongly affected by pressure, and often observed insulator – metal transition under high pressure.
The effect of high pressure has been studied on the electric structure of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons.
I introduce the electrical resistance of pentacene under high pressure [3].
Metallic behavior and irreversible effect have been observed.
The authors discuss the electrical property and the structure of pentacene.
