Magnetic-field-induced charge-stripe order in the high-temperature superconductor YBa2Cu3Oy
Copper oxide high-Tc superconductors (cuprates), which were discovered in 1986, show the highest superconducting
transition temperature Tc in all superconducting materials.
The mechanism of high-Tc superconductivity has been studied more than 25 years;
however, some problems are left unsolved. One of the main problems is the Fermi surface reconstruction.
In this paper, the authors report a systematic NMR study on underdoped YBa2Cu3Oy (YBCO),
which is the best candidate for the investigation of underdoped regions.
The existence of magnetic-field-induced charge order is demonstrated by the NMR measurements,
which is the new evidence for the Fermi surface reconstruction.
