The review of experimental techniques of generating high pressure: search for superconductivity of beryllium under high pressure

Abstract

Pressure is one of the important factors for determining the physical properties. Superconductivity under pressure has been known as the example. So, new physical properties could be found out in various materials by applying pressure. In this colloquium, I will give a review the high pressure techniques in our group and my subject, the physical property of beryllium under high pressure.
